§ 1 Definition of a Fluid Power Centre |
A Fluid Power Centre is an autonomous institution or centre performing research and development (R&D) in the field of fluid power.
It is perceived as such by the University as well as the fluid power (and motion control) industry and its associations.
It is sufficiently staffed with scientific and supporting personnel and equipped with laboratories, workshops and offices in order to be able to conduct major projects
independently. It has achieved an internationally respected reputation in the field of fluid power technology through research, consultancy and teaching.

§ 2 Reason for the FPCE-association |
The Fluid Power Centres in Europe have established an Association to extend their collaboration in research and to provide interested parties from academia, industry, government and media with information about their facilities and capabilities. The Association will help to enable easy access to partner(s) for collaborative projects and provide information about expertise in the field of fluid power
technology.

§ 3 Tasks of the FPCE |

§ 4 Joining FPCE |
In order to join the Network of Fluid Power Centres in Europe the laboratory must accord with the definition given in §1 and direct the application to the contact email-address being forwarded to all current members of the FPCE. The application has to be accepted by at least one member of each participating country. |
